Diagnostic Imaging

At Balmesvet Veterinary Hospital we have a diagnostic imaging service thanks to state-of-the-art technological equipment. Additionally, our professionals are experts in diagnostic imaging to carry out and interpret the results of the tests.

We have multi-frequency radiology equipment for the following tests:

• Digital X-rays, hip dysplasia X-rays, myelography, contrast X-rays (urography, gastrography, etc.).
• Intraoral digital dental X-rays.
• Ultrasound scans: these allow us to carry out studies of the abdomen, thorax, cervical, eyeballs, mammary glands and musculoskeletal system.
• Doppler ultrasound scans.
• Computed tomography (CT): General Electric 16-slice helical scanner. It allows studies of all body areas: head, thorax, abdomen, spine and musculoskeletal system.
• Endoscopies: digestive, respiratory, urinary and articular. They allow us to diagnose pathologies and extract foreign objects.
