Balmesvet helps future cat and dog owners to get personalised canine and feline advice prior to their adoption.

Thanks to this advice we ensure that the emotional relationship between the pet and its foster family is at its best, since we bring the needs of both parties closer together. In keeping with our social responsibility and commitment to animals, we are actively involved in making families happier and mitigating the abandonment and euthanasia rates where, unfortunately, Spain is at the top end of the Western world.

We devise a fostering plan based on a personalised interview and our Compatibility and Needs Form, whose criteria allow us to discover the ideal breeds according to the family’s circumstances. The aim is to create the best possible scenario for a full and lasting emotional coexistence between the foster family and the new pet.

We back up this advice with support and by providing the owners with behavioural-affective (ethological) tools in order to educate, prevent or resolve any difficulties that may arise during their living together. Our purpose is not only to help in making the decision, but also to build an affective relationship that allows for a harmonious coexistence between the family and their new member.
